Once your account is verified with us, the first step to start selling on Slash is to get your best selling products listed. Follow our steps diligently for a better product listing practice:
STEP1:
Login to your Slash account, Click on my account icon or Just click on the “Start Selling” button and skip to Step 3
STEP2:
On the seller’s page, click on “Sell an item”
STEP3:
Enter your product’s category and sub-category
Our advice on choosing Product category:
A. Be sure to choose the right product category for your item. A wrong category choice, could result in your item not be found on the right category search.
Step4:
Write a catchy title of your product, and write a detailed description of your product including its functions and features.
Our advice on writing product title & description:
Give your products a catchy title including colour, brand, gender, and type of material used. e.g. a” Lady’s blue Gucci genuine leather handbag” tittle would list better than a “Blue handbag” title.
Give your customers a reason to buy your product. Provide installation manual when necessary. Just let your product description be both convincing and educative enough.
Step5:
Enter your product's correct variations e.g Brand, condition, type, style e.t.c
Step6:
Upload an image of your product. Images help customers to make the best choice on the quality, colour, shape and more than words could less describe. So, we advise every seller to upload clear and high-quality images to help promote their customer’s shopping experience.
Our advice on uploading images:
A. Our core objective and obsession is on QUALITY PRODUCT. We strictly admonish our sellers to adhere to this by uploading the exact image of their products and not something similar to what they intend to sell on our platform. For before we deliver a product we do thorough check to be sure that what we have is what you uploaded
B. Your product image size should be at least 500x500 and shouldn’t be more than 2mb memory size. To increase the quality of your listing, for the first image, white background image is highly recommended, with no watermarks and should fill at least 80% of the image area.
Step7:
Enter a competitive price for your product.
Our advice on Product pricing:
Do make diligent research on other sites to determine the price your competitors are willing to sell the same product for. However, try to keep in contact with your buyers to negotiate better on price.

Check for omissions and spelling errors, then click on the submit button. If your ad is in compliance with our guidelines you will be notified when it becomes active.
